Opened to the public on Saturday 22 nd of January from 2.00 pm to 7.00 pm,
on Sunday 23 rd and Monday 24 th of January from 09.00 am to 7.00 pm.


Allows the tasting of a range of "VINS DOUX NATURELS" from all over the Mediterranean countries, choreographed by wine experts of Languedoc- Roussillon region.
New this year, an educational interactive-exhibition about the colours, the flavours, the aromas, the wine production and the "Terroirs" (free entrance).

- Display of over 150 wines of the “Muscat à petit grains” grape and of the Muscat from Alexandrie grapes.
- Discovery of different local products.
- Muscats tasting : VINS DOUX NATURELS, Dry Muscat, Sweet Muscat, effervescent Muscat… with the presence of wine experts of the Languedoc Roussillon region.


*Discovery exhibition “THE WINE KEYS”


An exhibition full of colours, smells, flavours and images for a sensitive meeting with the wine universe.
This exhibition was co produced by CAP SCIENCES and Bordeaux Tourist Office  for the “Bordeaux wine fair” of 2004.


The keys of the colours
To understand the colours which express themselves in the nature, the origin and in the age of the wine.
Translucent pillars show the different colours of the wine. Five nuances of white wine and 5 nuances of red wine. The visitor will immerse himself into the colours. He will understand the chromatic variations coming from the maturing process and the aging of the wine.


The keys of the flavours

To recognise the fundamental flavours from which the different wine flavours come.
Followed of a description of a taste bud and of the physiology of the flavour, 5 “distributors of flavours” are in disposal for the guests: sugar, salt, bitter, acid and astringent, to understand the colours, the visitors are invited to guess the tastes.

The keys to the aromas

To distinguish between the different family flavours and tastes that shows the diversity of the wine.
12 bottles with different flavours represent the different families of aromas: balsamique; iodized, spicy, animal, vegetable, fruit… The visitors are invited to pass through the different bottles and smell all the flavours.

The keys of the wine production

The different ways and principals to produce red, white and rosé wine.
Two panels will display the principals of the wine production, concerning the different types of wine.
